1.     Read something out of the course

2.     Decrease intake of sugar

Scientific fact about exam stress suggests to decrease sugar intake as cortisol is released by adrenal glands when you are under stress. This cortisol gives you a feeling of stress so to reduce such feeling decrease the amount of sugar in your daily routine. The most effective time is to control sugar intake in the morning as the blood sugar clock is most effective in the morning. You need to take breakfast without sugar intake, have protein items, fruits and vegetables along with fish meat to reduce your stress.

3.     Don’t touch your mobile

Yes mobile phone causes stress and creates negative impacts on health of your brain. Exam is the perfect time to treat your brain. So use your smart phones smartly. Tell your mobile to stop notify, check your feeds only once or twice to the max. Switch off your mobile especially just a day before exam.

4.     Get out of your home

You need to increase your serotonin that help to concentrate and understand things without taking much time.  You need to get sunlight for at least 10 minutes to keep the serotonin levels happy and healthy. But make sure that you are wearing cap and have applied sunscreen in case you are exposed to sunlight directly.

If you like to sing then do it out load when you are stressed. This can help you lift your spirit and decrease your tension. Singing releases endorphins that give you pleasure and decreases your cortisol levels. So sing to soothe your tension and increase your concentration.

6.     Manage your time

Manage your time as it is precious and is flying by. Apply time management techniques that decrease the anxiety due to exams. Manage time including your sleep and food so that all your necessities are fulfilled and help you to focus on your studies. Make schedule and include margins of error. Try to follow this schedule as a fixed appointment.

10.  Sleep enough

Sleep and stress is a two way relationship. Exams either make your sleep disappear or makes you want it more to escape the stressed scenario. Both are bad for your health and for your grades so plan your healthy sleep and follow the plan.
